Could you please delete that comment? It’s urgent. Someone is desperately trying to hack my facebook and other IDs and i believe he/she is getting all my info from various posts i have made in blogs.
would just like to know more about the upcoming sapling project day on 6th June.
For sponsoring a sapling should the payment be made at the venue on the 6th or can be made before hand.
Hi,
I would like to know that what action should be taken against the people who are cutting trees which are in my society compound(resident of kalyan). Actually there were only 2 trees of ASHOKA in my society. Today I was shocked when I saw only one tree was standing there.. and other one just counting the ramaining days of its life…. I want to save its life.. can you please guide me or atleast let me know the exact procedure to stop this type of killing of trees.
Dear Satish,
My name is Chirag Purecha, I belong to a group known as JNM, we are a group of activists and NGOs interested in bringing about change through active political intervention, we put up citizens’ consensus candidates against the established political parties, these are basically candidates chosen by societies and local groups, who then fight elections based on an agenda of good governance. We strongly believe that besides struggling for good governance by legal means like RTI etc.. It is also necessary to take on the match in the politicians’ court.
The idea is to show the political parties that fighting on the platform of good governance works and can get votes, we have successfully got India’s only citizens’ corporator Adolf D’Souza elected from the Juhu area. and shall be fielding many more candidates in the coming municipal elections in 2012. Towards this end we shall be needing a lot of shram daan in the form of writing and if possible in the form of active participation.
I am an admirer of your blogs and I would be happy to invite you to join this struggle. If I could speak to you for 10 minutes on the phone or even better I could meet you with a couple of our volunteers. We could hopefully convert you to the cause, because your writing skills could come considerably handy.
Sorry for the direct pitch, but I am not really a believer in beating about the bush.
I completely understand if I do not get a reply to this communication; If however you wish to be converted to the cause or are inclined to invest about 10 minutes of your life please call me on +91-9819030574
