Kickoff Time – The Sapling Project 4

We will be starting work on the next sapling project drive sometime in last week of July or early August.

There are a few things that we are trying to get in place or smoothen the process :-

1. T’shirts – We would be making a few T’shirts at no-profit basis for the next drive, If you want to buy a T’shirt let us know. Would be sharing the designs on the blog shortly.

2. Banners – At every event our Flex Banners gives up and tears , will have to put some strong adhesive tape or put some plywood frame as border.

3. Registration & Funding- Looking to finish the registration process, so that we can seek funding and issue receipts in Sapling Project’s name, unlike currently where were are collecting in our individual names.
Also involve the core team and volunteers across cities for the funding and sponsorship.

4. Other Cities – Reach out to more cities and team across India.

5. Revamp Website – Create local city pages, where local team can manage content and update the same.

6. Involve more schools and housing societies –  If  you know any schools and housing society who want  to be part of the sapling project let us know.

7. Government and BMC assistance for free/subsidised saplings.

Do feel free to sign up at http://thesaplingproject or If you can help us in any way, Do  share your feedback/suggestions (satish at bombaylives dot com/ @bombaylives )  on how we can do better and make the world a better and greener place :)
